Our team works actively to ensure that UNTAP’D programming and other community events remain welcoming and accessible for all Jersey City residents.

Accessible Entry

Magnum Opus Studio operates in an industrial creative building. While the main public entrance includes steps, the building provides access through a freight elevator located on the same side of the building, which serves as the accessible entry point.

To support accessible entry:

  • Staff-assisted entry is available during all events

  • Visitors may request assistance prior to arrival

  • Accessible entry instructions will be provided on event pages and confirmations

Communication Accessibility

Magnum Opus strives to make programming accessible through:

  • Captioning available upon request for dialogue-based events

  • Large-print digital materials available when requested

  • High-contrast signage and readable exhibit labels

  • Flexible seating layouts

  • Quiet or low-sensory adjustments when feasible

Requests for accommodations are welcome.

Artists With Disabilities

Magnum Opus welcomes artists with disabilities to participate in exhibitions, performances, workshops, and creative programs.

We provide:

  • Flexible program participation formats

  • Accessible setup coordination

  • Additional time for installation or rehearsal when needed

  • Staff support for navigation and setup

Artists are encouraged to communicate any accessibility needs when applying or participating.

Magnum Opus continues to strengthen accessibility through phased improvements including:

  • Exploration of portable ramp solutions

  • Additional interpretation partnerships

We review accessibility needs annually to ensure our programs remain inclusive.
